Christine Bleakley is one of the most popular TV presenters in the United Kingdom. She began her career on UK television as a news reader and presenter for Belfast Citybeat from 1995-1997, where she was one of the station’s pioneer presenters, including Chris Buckler, Stuart Robinson and Stephen Nolan. Later on she moved into mainstream television with BBC Northern Island and began to host a wide range if shows in the said channel. Among her most notable shows is Sky High, where she flew around Northern Ireland in a helicopter in 2004.
Christine Bleakley soon found herself presenting the weekly entertainment show First Stop, and as well presented events including Would You Pass the 11+ and Children in Need. She was also seen in the cooking show, Spill the Beans.
When not in Northern Ireland, Christine Bleakley co-hosted the BBC 2 talent competition Let Me Entertain You, and as well as The One Show aired on BBC One. She also joined the celebrity dance competition Strictly Come Dancing, opposite professional partner Matthew Cutler.
